All travellers must hold a valid passport for international travel and may also require visas or entry permits depending on their destination and nationality. Many countries require passports to remain valid for at least six months after the planned return date. Travellers are responsible for ensuring their travel documents meet all entry and immigration requirements before departure.
Passports and Visas
All travellers must hold a valid passport when travelling internationally. Many countries require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond the planned return date, and some destinations may require a machine readable passport.
When assisting with an international travel booking, it is assumed that all travellers on the booking hold a valid passport. If this is not the case, travellers must inform their consultant before the booking is confirmed.
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they have the correct passports, visas and entry permits required by immigration and government authorities for all countries included in their travel itinerary.
Travellers who are not travelling on an Australian or New Zealand passport should advise their consultant, as additional visa or re-entry requirements may apply when returning to Australia or their country of residence.
Non-Australian passport holders should contact their country’s embassy or consulate for detailed information regarding entry and re-entry requirements.
Some countries may require travellers with previous criminal convictions or drink driving offences to apply for a visa before departure.
Any fines, penalties or additional costs resulting from incorrect, missing or insufficient travel documentation will be the responsibility of the traveller, except where the issue is caused by an error on our part.
